Would they OR would they NOT !!!!!!
I’ve just had a very interesting conversation with a very good passenger of mine who normally cruises 3/4 times a year. They have just come off the Azamara Quest and wasn’t impressed at all. I have to say im quite shocked and surprised because everyone else I’ve ever spoken to has always raved about how high standards they are BUT not having cruised on Azamara myself and having that personal experience its always very good to hear some one else’s point of view. Good points or bad !!!!
The flight’s from Manchester were indirect which didn’t help the situation (not always the easiest to get a direct flight from certain airports ). Then to make the situation worse their pick up arrangements to their hotel wasn’t on schedule either. He actaully said ( laughing ) ” they thought the ship had been hired out to a swingers club on the previous cruise because it took allot longer to get the ship ready than usual, they didn’t get in to their cabins till after 3.30pm “( hahaha which i dont think it would of been BUT still not good ).
A few other things they weren’t happy about was :
1..Food on board was very good BUT did get very boring.
2..The cost of the organised tours was extremely high and expensive so they did there trips on their own.
3..His key disappointment was the entertainment which was embarrassingly poor. The DJ was useless. Fortunately they didn’t rely on this as they had met some really lovely people and made their own entertainment, however for others this was not the case.
4…The ship was poor at providing courtesy buses from the ship into some town centres, e.g. Marseilles, day one they had to walk 15 mins to town. Whilst this did not matter to them it did to the folks who were not so fit or had walking difficulties. On day 2 a bus was provided. Monaco was the same.
5…Would they go on another Azamara cruise, they are not sure. Would they recommend an Azamara cruise, not sure.

I have to say I am really shocked and surprised to hear something like this especially with Azamara being 1 off our Luxury Cruise Liners and I’ve never had any one else say anything bad about them.What experience have you had I would really love to hear your comments ?????
