Virgin Voyages Visits Two UK Ports !

Virgin Voyages have announced that their first cruise ship Scarlet Lady will be calling into two UK ports next year.

Before heading off to her homeport in Miami, Scarlet Lady will call into the UK from Genoa — this is where she is being built, she will be visiting Dover and Liverpool in February 2020.

This is fantastic news for me, as I am not far from Liverpool so hopefully, I will be able to have a peak before she sets off to Miami.

Scarlet lady is set to carry 2700 passengers, she will be an ‘Adult Only’ ship. She is seemingly going to offer a whole new meaning to what is included on ships currently.

She will have no main dining room, no set dining times, no dress code and no buffet.

The price you pay also Includes Unlimited  Wi-Fi, soft drinks, teas, coffee and still and sparkling water. Group fitness classes to work off those extra calories, there is a full fitness area including a Yoga Club, Athletics area and full gym.

Virgin also revealed that Mark Ronson has confirmed four performances at the line’s private club, The Beach Club, at Bimini in 2020. DJ and record producer, Diplo, will also perform at The Beach Club in 2020.

Scarlet Lady will also have a number of the industry firsts which will include the first ever vinyl record store at sea, not only that now this one I have never come across before on a cruise ship but the first ever “tattoo parlour”. So if you are wanting/thinking of having a tattoo done well you can have this done whilst you are relaxing onboard your cruise.

Scarlet Lady will go into service in March 2020, she will be sailing four and five-night cruises to the Caribbean and Cuba Itineraries out of Miami.

Virgin Voyages has three more ships on order for delivery between 2021 and 2023.
