Take That Concert…..08June2011

Well what a night,
We arrived at the City Ground about 5.30pm and the place was absolutely packed with fans…
There was no where to sit I think every one must of got there about 3hours before to get seats haha BUT we decided to go on the pitch to watch because it was a better view.

The stage was unbelievable they had a massive robot in the middle of the stage that moved, there was 4 young lads dancing in cages at the top , a long stage through the middle of the crowd, it was just breath taking the amount of work it must of taken to get set up.

Obviously we had to have a couple of drinks whilst we waited BUT come 7pm the Pet Shop Boys came on and goodness they were brilliant what a start to an excellent night.

The atmosphere was electric everyone was just buzzing, Then the rain started the heavens opened and it didn’t stop, every one in there rain macks and of cause I didn’t have 1 so I was wet through and I really did look like a drowned rat BUT did I care NO the Best was to come.

Then it’s the four Take That boys without the man MR Robbie Williams. Then Robbie appears from behind the scenes then all five original Take That members having a proper love-in – all hugs and smiles. Robbie Williams just outstood from the rest his performance was unbelievable. Now I would have to say he was the best out of them all , every one was singing along to all there songs atmosphere with the crowd was amazing people dancing, jumping up and down it was just brilliant. The songs they sang were Back for Good, Shine, Re-light my Fire, Pray, Patience, Let Me Entertain You, Go West, Suburbia and my  favourite was , Angels. I still have Goosebumps now from singing along to it.

There are fireworks, lights, waterfalls, people with boxes on their heads, a strip show, a caterpillar, human chess pieces and a vast and seemingly meaningless robot.

Over all absolutely excellent concert I would definitely go again without a doubt.

I  also want to say a massive Thank You to my best friend Mike for taking me and buying my ticket, what a present thank you for a brilliant time, friends hey cant do without them.
