I Am Back From The Caribbean!

I am back in the land of the living after my 11 nights cruise in the Caribbean on the Celebrity Equinox. Wow, we had a fantastic time and the ship was just amazing.

It has been a long time since I have travelled with Celebrity cruises and also the last time I was in the Caribbean was about 10 years ago, my sister Yvonne had never even been on a cruise nor the Caribbean so you can imagine how extremely excited the pair of us were.

So after rushing about on the Saturday 5^th November, getting all my last little bits sorted I also had to do our online check-in for our BA flights. I have to say this was a breeze, all updated and pre pre-booked seats in just a couple of minutes for the flight from Manchester to London Heathrow then our connecting flight to Miami.

On Sunday 05^th November, the day we were flying.  I arrived at my sisters at about 8.30am but I had noticed my suitcase was feeling a tad heavy, it felt like it had 2 bodies in it haha, I did try weighing it at mine but with not much success. Yvonne found her scales to check what the weight was, mine was 25kilos, Yvonne’s was 21 kilos, so hers was ok but mine obviously overweight,  our limit was 23 kilos per person. So with a bit of moving clothes around, we eventually were spot on.

Time was ticking on, our flight was departing at 12.30pm and needed to call for a taxi, thank goodness it arrived in no time. Yvonne only lives about 20 minutes from Manchester Airport so not to far to travel.

Our taxi pulled up at Terminal 3, helped us with our luggage and off we went to check in. There were no queues at the BA desk, it was a total breeze, our bags went through and our seats were booked together. I have never flown with BA before and I have to say the check in staff/service on board and the food was excellent right throughout both our flights.
