A first for Fred – will you be there?

A first for Fred Olsen with New Year’s Eve debut in Sydney!

‘Black Watch’ will dock in Sydney for the first time to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2018.  The 804-passenger ship will arrive on New Year’s Eve for a 2-night stay as part of a 107-night world cruise departing from Southampton on November 12th.

Justin Stanton, the line’s marketing director, said, ‘We are delighted to be offering guests the chance to take a once-in-a-lifetime holiday onboard Black Watch, circling the globe from late 2018’.

The ship will visit 35 countries in the Americas, Oceania, Asia, Arabia and the Mediterranean, topped off by the New Year’s Eve Fireworks display in Sydney.

The itinerary will see Black Watch cross the Atlantic from Funchal in Madeira to St. John’s, Antigua, continuing to Colombia before transiting the Panama Canal and exploring the Polynesian islands before arriving in Sydney.

The ship then travels along eastern Australia and the Great Barrier Reef onto Komodo Island in Indonesia, Singapore, Phuket in Thailand, Kerala, Goa, and Mumbai in India, for an overnight stay.

Black Watch then calls at Dubai, Muscat in Oman and Aqaba in Jordan, for another overnight stay.

After transiting the Suez Canal, the ship navigates the Strait of Messina through to Naples en route to Southampton, via Gibraltar and La Coruna in Spain.

You can visit of the above with no flights involved, step onboard the ship in Southampton and off again on your return without suffering from jet-lag!

Prices start at £11,999 per person, based on two adults sharing a twin-bedded interior cabin.
