The Start of a New Journey…. Again!

Hi there. Well, my last 8 weeks have been eventful, to say the least. Lots of changes in my life and although I didn’t think it at the time, I see it all now as an opportunity to embrace my new chapter.

I had lived in the same house with my son who is now 18 for 11 years. The end of July my landlord, unfortunately, had to put the house up for sale. I was devastated but went along with everyone telling me it could be months until its sold …. cue the ‘cash buyer’ and it sold in under 3 weeks !!! I can laugh about it now but I was running out of time to find somewhere to live.

Moving is not my problem as this has actually been my 31st move in my life !! The perks of having adventurous parents who would also up and go in the search of our next adventure. Moving became a normality. But as time has gone on and I was settled for 11 years in one place I guess I took it for granted that it was our home.

So with my skates on in between every shift I looked for a new home and after viewing various nice (and not so nice!) places, I opted for a house not too far away and we have now moved in and will make this our home… for now !!!!

My customers and my colleagues at Cruise.co.uk have been the most supportive and patient with me, and I cannot thank everyone enough for their support. So as I sit here in my new office I definitely have enough to keep me busy and catch up on and motivated to focus on my work.

(The unpacking of the bags and boxes, however, can wait as my motivation is not as focussed on that ! … just as long as I do before move 32 it will be fine 🙂 !!)
