Sundecks, Fundecks and Blissful Retreats

Cruising has certainly changed over the years, Sea Days are still a major part of any itinerary, when you are on board do you want Peaceful adult-only Haven retreats with Private Cabanas or do prefer ships with Sun decks turned into fun decks with water slides,  zip lines and surf simulators, skydiving simulators or maybe you enjoy Pool decks with movies under the stars where you can catch the latest releases with a bucket of popcorn and an ice cold beer?

If dynamic pools and sun decks are priorities when choosing a cruise, here are my  best Sundecks where you won’t be fighting for a sunbed!

Royal Princess’ Sanctuary and adjacent Retreat pool has private cabanas to die for

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Haven and is pure paradise with the private Courtyard area offering a private world of luxury at sea and MSC Yacht Club boasts the ‘Ultimate Luxury Cruising Experience’

My own favourite is Oceania Marina, I love the traditional teak deck perfect for relaxing in the sun or shade

You won’t find any fighting for sun beds at dawn with Crystal Cruises with a full size Tennis Court!

If it’s all about Fun decks my vote is Royal Caribbean but I love the Disney deck at night with the huge Sea Cinema

For the Ultimate Luxury Private Sun deck you just might have to charter your own Yacht!
