P&O Cruises and Virgin Atlantic Partner for Caribbean Fly-Cruise Program

virgin-atlantic-planeP&O Cruises has partnered with Virgin Atlantic for Adonia’s winter 2017-18 Caribbean fly-cruise program,

Adonia’s 2017/18 Caribbean season will operate from November 3, 2017 until March 8, 2018 and include 14-night Eastern Caribbean cruises round-trip from Bridgetown. Adonia is the smallest ship in the fleet with P&O, she has recently returned after the sister brand Fathom ceased operations.

Flights will be available from Manchester and London Heathrow with Economy, Premium Economy, and Upper Class seats available for the 14- and 28-night itineraries. There will also be a number of economy seats available on existing London Gatwick scheduled services.

Using a scheduled carrier rather than a charter operator should provide a better level of service for Adonia passengers, depending on the type of aircraft used.

Adonia makes a 20-night Transatlantic passage from Southampton to Barbados via Bermuda, Florida ports and the Virgin Islands on October 14.

The charters from London Heathrow and Manchester include return economy seats in the cruise fare with upgrades to Premium Economy from £349 and to Upper Class from £749 , per person. The Upper Class experience includes a personalized, dedicated check-in and security with access to the award-winning Clubhouse at London Heathrow.

Reason to upgrade:

  • Express check-in.
  • Larger baggage allowance
  • Enhanced menu option
  • Premium Class has bigger seats / additional leg room
  • Upper class has comfy flat beds – perfect for a longer flight.
  • Upper Class passengers can take advantage of the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse lounge prior to their flight.

Adonia‘s 2017-18 Caribbean season, which operates from November 3, 2017, until March 8, 2018, comprises 14-night Eastern Caribbean cruises ($1,925)  round-trip from Bridgetown, Barbados. Destination highlights include Mayreau the smallest inhabited island of the Grenadines, Bequia which is part of St. Vincent, and Santarem in Brazil which is situated in the Amazon River, as well as Pointe-a-Pitre, Antigua, St. Maarten, Tortola, St. Kitts, and Martinique.
