A Make Over for Millennium

Celebrity Millennium has just gone back into service following a massive refit at a shipyard in Asia.

The ship recently sailed from Marina Bay sporting her new colour scheme in line with the brand new Celebrity Edge.

The refurbishment was a part of the line’s $500 million fleetwide project- The Celebrity Revolution- where a number of features will appear across the Millennium- and Solstice-class ships, including Celebrity‘s Retreat concept.

All staterooms now feature a new design that is set to rival the world’s best boutique hotels, fitted with the line’s eXhale bedding featuring cashmere mattresses, RFID locks, Xcelerate and Bluetooth capabilities.

The culinary side has also been addressed:

-The Qsine (restaurant) will be added across the fleet and completely renovated with the brand’s virtual Le Petit Chef experience. This is my all time favourite restaurant at sea!

-Oceanview Café will be redesigned with an open, airy, marketplace-inspired design

-The main restaurants will undergo a redesign, with new textures and new finishes throughout.

Other Celebrity Revolution features include:

-Expansion of the new SEA Thermal Suite.

-New shopping experiences with name brands and designer products.

-Elevated bars and lounges, including the newly reimagined Passport Bar and an expansion of Celebrity’s Gastrobar concept, serving more than 40 craft beers, cocktails, and comfort food.

-More upgrades to public venues all throughout each ship, including The Hideaway, Team Earth, The Library and more.

The first revitalization will take place in 2019, starting with Celebrity Millennium, and will continue across the fleet all thr way through to 2023.

Millennium will be cruising the Far East until April of this year then she will complete a repositioning cruise to the amazing shores of Alaska for the summer season.

Then she will head back east to Japan on her 16 Nights Transpacific sailing to Yokohama Tokyo.

Check out my photos and see how amazing she is looking!
