Equinox Is Getting Closer

The date really is coming round quickly…Our Caribbean Cruise, But First it is our hotel stay for a few nights in Miami South Beach, we love this place, if you like people watching and lots of glitz and swanky people with their supercars this is definitely the place for you.

We will be flying from London Heathrow and have paid to upgrade our seats with Virgin Atlantic, well worth doing it if you can when you have such a long flight especially if you don’t like sitting still for long like me.

We will be staying first of all in the 4* Hotel Breakwater it’s in an excellent location ( if you like lots of colour and music) opposite the long sandy Miami beach and a couple of minutes from all the bars, shops and facilities etc.

Then it will be a transfer to the cruise port to join our cruise, this will be our second time of sailing on the lovely Celebrity Equinox & will be nice to see her now she has had her huge refurbishment in early May this year, we will be sailing  from Fort Lauderdale, we are taking the Southern Caribbean and will be visiting lots of new ports and I’m really looking forward to that….

I am looking forward to seeing the ship and the refurbishments which have been made. The  Passport Bar on Deck 3 has been completely redesigned to reflect a mega-yacht lounge,  a new venue called Craft Social (formerly the Gastrobar) will offer up more than 40 craft beers, wine and cocktails on tap, along with comfort food favourites, amid flat-screen TVs and leather seating.
