Cunard Bush The Boat Out……

The 41st president of the USA George H.W.Bush and the former first lady Barbara Bush sailed on their first TRANSATLANTIC CROSSING. onboard Cunard’s  Queen Mary 2 this week. They started their journey in Southampton on 27th April and sailed into New York. Embarking in Southampton, they received a White Star welcome in the ships commodore club by Peter Shanks, president of the Cunard line. President Bush was heard to say of their Queen Mary voyage ” Ive been looking forward to this for weeks”. Barbara agreed “You have  been talking about it for months” !!!

Throughout their history countless dignitaries have enjoyed the luxury offered on Cunards transatlantic crossings. During their cruise they went to the Royal Court Theatre and also visited the world-class Canyon Ranch SpaClub.

Its good to know the rich and famous are still experiencing the fantastic quality of the Transatlantic package Cunard are able to offer. It is still the grandest way to reach New York in my opinion.
