Minerva is currently based in historic Portsmouth which has enabled a lot of people to have a good look at her since she has had a multi million pound refit done in the winter of 2011. it is also a really good way to introduce newcomers to their product.
She has always been described as the Country House ship, I was lucky to go on her back in 2010 and was very impressed by her, very different from the large 3000 passenger ships I have been on, if you like the smaller ships with guest speakers on then this is definitely the ship for you.

Personally, I’ve always thought Minerva looked like the ideal discovery ship: she’s small, nimble, and fitted with all the comforts you might expect from a modern cruise ship. She has an extremely loyal passenger following, and with these new enhancements and additions, it’s no stretch to say that following will expand as new cruisers from North America and abroad have the chance to discover this unique, one-of-a-kind vessel.
