Here Comes 30!

It literally feels like yesterday, I was walking around at my 21st Birthday Party with a massive baby bump and now next Friday I Turn 30!, I have no idea where time has gone. My Dad always said to me the older you get the quicker time goes by and this is very true.

My Husband Ryan turned 30 last month, he’s assured me life is no different lol. Neither of us wanted to make a big fuss about it so we have booked 3 nights in the beautiful Dubrovnik on the 28th Of this month. This is the day after my birthday so its safe to say I won’t be having any more than a glass of prosecco as we need to be at Edinburgh Airport for 4 am, so the plan is to head over to my mums for a takeaway and some Birthday cake!

I am very excited to go to Dubrovnik, it looks so beautiful and being a big Game Of Thornes Fan I cant wait to do the tour. We are staying in an area called Lapad, away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik Old Town but still within reaching distance. It takes around 15 mins or so on the bus or you have the option to use Uber, I checked the app and it costs around £6.50 each way so if we fancy a night out in the Old Town we have that option and don’t need to rely on the bus service.

I have already been looking at different restaurants etc in Lapad, we are only a 2-minute walk from the Harbour and you can see the cruise ships docking for the day, I’ve actually checked to see which ships are in port while we are away, Costa Deliziosa, Queen Victoria, Norwegian Star & MS Nieuw Statendam.
