So why am I blogging about two programmes about dating? What has this got to do with cruising I hear you ask? Well….

 For those of you that don’t know, the headline is the well known catchphrase from Take Me Out, a game show where a man chooses a date from a panel of ladies. In order to find his perfect match, he asks them a series of questions which allows him to narrow down his choices until eventually, he finds the right lady for him.

Blind Date followed a similar format, however the contestants don’t get to see their potential dates in person, only ask them questions from behind a screen. It’s not until the contestants have made their choice that they get to meet their date.
