CELEBRITY MILLENIUM A DISAPPOINTMENT
This isn’t the first time I have heard that the Celebrity Millenium has left customers frustrated and disappointed. After just spending 35 nights on Celebrity Solstice around New Zealand and Australia a customer of mine then flew to Singapore to pick up the Millenium for a 14 night cruise to Hong Kong . After the experience on board I think I can definitely say my customers wont be travelling with Celebrity again.
As a specialist that sells Celebrity Cruises day in day out I am a firm believer that on the majority of sailings they exceed all expectations by offering ‘Modern Luxury’ to their customers, unfortunately time and time again when I speak to someone who has just returned off the Millenium , I have my fingers crossed in hoping for a great experience. So what is it about the Millenium that seems to disappoint in so many ways and have customers running from ‘Modern Luxury’ to rival competitors.
‘Grotty, worn and tired with poor entertainment and no sign of the Captain’ A line from a customer today who returned last week. Maybe the Captain had a paintbrush in hand , covering up tatty woodwork and rusty table tennis tables. Not what you would expect from 5 star luxury. Unofrtunately this isnt a one off incident .
On the upside what this ship does have is amazing ports of call, and luckily that is 100 per cent never changeable. The amazing wonders of the Far East taing in Vietnam and Hong Kong are sure to make your time on the Millenium into a distant memory.

Travelled from Hong Kong to Singapore on Millenium over Christmas and New Year2013/14. Found ship in need of much TLC. There were no Christmas /New Year celebrations on board, or very few and very low key. cruise ports of call great, but ship poor, so much so that I felt the need to complain after returning home. Totally ignored by Celebrity…!!!!
We recently had our first cruise on the Celebrity Reflection and were disappointed with the organisation and the entertainment, the food and the itinerary were very good. We won’t be travelling with Celebrity again.
Just read your comments on the celebrity millennium. I have just booked only an hour ago to go on this ship next April. I hope by then they have sorted things out.

Hi Valerie, I am hoping that Celebrity do take note as I do seem to hear negative views regarding this ship, mainly as she needs a good refurbishment and customers don’t feel she is up to Celebrity standard. What customers do say though id the itinerary is amazing and more than makes up for some re decorating onboard. Believe me is doesn’t put people of as every cruise is a sell out for the beginning of next year. You will have a great time. Holly
