Will you be Lonely this Christmas?

A lot of people ( my wife included ) have decided now that we are in September and the kids have gone back to school that our main focus should now be on Christmas. I like to kid myself that it is still summer but reluctantly agree that we need to start thinking of presents for all the family, putting money aside and even worse the dreaded Christmas shopping!

Don’t get me wrong I do love Christmas and love spending time with all my family. I was talking to a lovely lady the other day and she got me thinking about people who don’t have any family to spend Christmas with and I felt really sad for her. We then started talking about a cruise for her to be away over the holiday period and looked at Cunard in particular. The reason she wanted to look at them was she has been with them several times before since she became a window. This lady likes to dance and with Cunard they have at least 6 dance partners on every ship plus the entertainment team who will join in with the dancing. She explained to me how this really made her feel not on her own and how she got to do one of the things that she enjoyed the most. She also liked the fact she could go for her meals and sit with other single passengers and not feel like a spare part. All in all she said it was the best way she could possibly spend Christmas.

I have searched for a lot of single travelers lately and have to say that lady is not alone in thinking that. As i keep searching I find it amazing to see just how popular cruises are over the holiday period. I wanted to post one on here to use as an example and really struggled to find some availability, but I did manage to find one that would have all the features I have mentioned above.
