One of the things I love about my job is talking to different people and never knowing sometimes where the conversation is going to go.
I rang a customer the other day just to check she was all ready for her upcoming cruise and she had all her documents, insurance and any questions that she may have. Everything was all in order and then the conversation turned to the subject of luggage allowance. Now this is something that can be quite contentious with some airlines offering 30 kilos per person and others none as standard and charging huge fees for just 20 kilos. This lady in particular was going on a cruise with more formal nights than normal so could do with more than the 20 kilos she was allowed. The obvious option would normally be to contact the airline and purchase extra allowance but again this can be expensive. What the lady decided to do instead was buy something called a Rufus Roo jacket as seen below
Now I know this will not be everyone’s cup of tea and can see why the style conscious would not even consider wearing such a funny looking item but then you have to look at the practical side. I’m very on the fence myself and can think of people I know who would love and hate this in equal meassures
This is what the manufacturer says
