Cheers to P&O?

This week I was lucky enough to be on a call with a few senior people from P&O for a bit of a Questions and Answer session. One of the main questions that is always raised in the cruise industry is are P&O ever going to start doing a All Inclusive drinks package?…… Well I can now reveal at long last that the answer is Yes!

Now what I and the rest of us that were on the call don’t know is how it is going to work and the exact date that it will start. The impression I got is that it is something P&O feel they need to do as most rival cruise lines offer a drinks package. Celebrity cruises are offering free drinks and more as part of the 123go promotion. Fred Olson do a great package at a cost of £10 per person per night. Then you have some of the luxury 6 star cruise lines who do a fully All Inclusive cruise including drinks and excursions.

The interesting thing will be to see, at what price they introduce the package ( if people see it as value for money? ) and if they use it as a tool to try and generate early bookings on future cruises by offering it for free for a limited period.

I will be awaiting the announcement with interest and would love to know what people think about this news?

As soon as I have the full information rest assured you will be the first to know!

Cheers!
