Book onboard to get more rewards

So admit it who sees the future cruise sales area on your cruise ship and tries to avoid it like the plague?

Well for a lot I would say that is ok but if you are a regular cruiser and you know roughly what you would like to do for your next cruise or even if you just have an idea on dates and places you would like to see you could be making a BIG mistake.

You would probably think as someone who sells cruises I am giving rather strange advice and trying to do myself out of business but nothing could be further from the truth. If you know another cruise you would like or see something on the ship that catches your eye then go and talk to the future cruise sales team and see what they can offer. They will get the same prices that we do here but will enhance it for you by extra added value normally by giving a decent amount of spending money or something else. Deposits are normally lower too and sometimes they ate a lot more flexible on changes if you need to make any in the future.

So where do we fit into this as you have booked directly on the ship? Well all you do is tell them that the cruise was booked through us and you want it managed by us and then the cruise line will apply the booking to us and send us a confirmation over whilst you are still enjoying your cruise. We will then load here see that you have paid a deposit on the shipload onto the system here, See what we can do for your loyalty of coming back to us and do a little something on the price or maybe some extra spending money or discounted parking so you benefit twice and it can make such a big difference.

I have lots of customers who do this and some even price the cruise they are interested in before they travel and then book onboard.

Another thing that can be a great benefit to you is joining the cruise lines membership schemes as you would be amazed how many people don’t and again could lose out. You don’t have to be a regular with one company to benefit as take Celebrity for example if you have done just one cruise with them then the next time you book you can get a free cabin upgrade. I had some customers the other day save £700 on a Fred Olsen cruise as they got 5% off by being members of there Oceans Scheme. I’ve also just got some new customers who cruise all the time and like Cunard and they always get a lot of extra $ when they book and they are even shareholders so get even more when that is applied. One cruise has over $1500 spends on it………..

Msc will give you a discount even if you have never been with them before if you are a member with any other cruise lines they will match your current status level and give you 5% off too.

Now I can’t promise that you will always benefit by such large amounts but it really does help and let’s face it who can afford to pass up any perks at the minute.

So make sure you join the membership scheme when you are on this ship and price your next cruise If it’s good book it and apply it to us and we will do what we can and then everyone ( but mainly you ) is a winner!

  1. if they want to charge double the least they can do is provide everything you are paying for, maybe we should invite an invisible friend just to make sure lol

  2. Sorry to moan but apart from the typos you missed the whole peice reads badly with commas missing and finishing a sentence with a comma.

  3. I agree on sungle supplements I noted one this week where the single supplement was MORE than the cost of Two people in the same cabin How can this be?
Those of us who travel singly do so varios reasons and it seems “ single” is a penance through no fault of our own

  4. I agree there is a lot of single people that go on a cruise and get stung on the price
It’s a shame there’s not a way around it I keep trying to talk my brother into going on a cruise .

  5. That is why cruise lines are probably missing out on a vast untapped market, many over 50 who would like to try a cruise but object to the single cabin mark up out of principle like me also wouldn’t bother, I don’t drink alcohol by choice I would not be over indulgent on eating the food but will ask why when these ships are being built they don’t add more single cabins ?
