New York Rendevouz for the three Queens of Cunard……………..

For the first time in three years all three Cunard ships will sail into New York today, and naturally the Americans will be celebrating.
It will be the first time that these three particular ships have met.
Queen Mary will dock at Red Hook, Brooklyn while Queens Elizabeth and Victoria will sail up the Hudson River and dock at the Passenger Ship Terminal in Manhattan.
The Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria will have sailed in from Europe, doing what Cunard call a tandem crossing of the Atlantic with the ships sailing side by side.
All three ships were expected to sail under the Verrasanno Bridge at 6.00am local time today before spending a day in port. At around 5.30pm they will all sail past the statue of Liberty whilst a celebratory gala firework display takes place.
What a fantastic experience for those lucky enough to be on board. I can imagine the top decks being crammed with people all enjoyed this rare treat. I wonder how many diners on first sitting will be late tonight!
I have clients on board the Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria and I can’t wait to hear from them when they get back to hear all about it.
