It’s all change for NCL all-inclusive………..

Good afternoon Cruisers! Just a bit of news regarding changes that NCL are making to their all-inclusive on board package.

It is just about two years since they gave passengers the option of booking all-inclusive, drinks, gratuities, bottled water all included, or book their Just Cruise option which only included Gratuities and obviously was significantly cheaper.

Once again NCL are making changes to this to give passengers even more freedom of choice, as follows:

Based on a 7 night cruise, guests can pay an extra £99.00 per person and will be able to chose one of the following:

  • Premium Beverage Package – With alcoholic and non-alcoholic branded drinks served in all bars, lounges, and restaurants throughout your cruise.
  • Specialty Dining Package  With up to five dining opportunities in selected specialty restaurants.
  • WiFi Package With up to 125 minutes of WiFi per person.
  • Shore Excursion Package With $50 shore excursion credit per stateroom per port of call.
  • Family and Friends Offer On selected sailings guests three and four in the stateroom pay only the applicable tax for their cruise.
  • Prices for these extra benefits will vary depending on the duration of guests planned cruise, as follows:
  • 1 – 6 nights £49pp
  • 7 – 9 nights £99pp
  • 10 – 13 nights £149pp
  • 14 – 17 nights £199pp
  • 18+ nights 249pp
  • It will be interesting to see how this affects the overall price of their cruises, obviously prices did increase two years ago when NCL went all-inclusive, so will the prices now drop to reflect the fact that passengers will have to pay extra for their benefits? it will certainly be fairer for people not wanting any of the additional benefits as previously they couldn’t select cabin numbers, only book on a guarantee basis, but under the new scheme they will be able to pick a cabin.
  • No doubt I will be hearing from clients over the coming weeks, looking to book an NCL cruise and it will be interesting to hear their thoughts on these changes.
  • I really do wonder sometimes why cruise lines keep chopping and changing things!
  • For now, happy cruising folks, I will catch you soon.
