And of course, no ship visit would be complete without the ‘Carpet Gallery’!

I have to say I was somewhat surprised by the subtlety of the carpets, lighting and furnishings on Oasis, not your usual cruise ship fare at all, however I do feel that these added to the overall ‘classy’ feel on board. Gone are the ‘tacktastic’, gaudy carpets of other mainstream cruise lines, Royal are once again leading the way. Yes the ship still has it colourful, lively family areas but it also has areas more suited to couples, those looking for a more relaxing type of cruise.

I particularly like the one above with the Royal Caribbean emblem on!
