My day on the Oceania Marina

Last Wednesday 10th August I was lucky enough to visit the Oceania Marina in Dover.  The ship was amazing.  We all met in one of the lounges before being taken off for a tour of the ship.  We visited different grades of accommodation which I thought were all a good size.

The inside cabins were larger than other inside cabins I have seen.  I must say that my favourite was the Owner’s suite with furnishings from Ralph Lauren.  The walk in closet was fab and there are two Jacuzzis one in the master bath and one on your terrace.  I was very impressed with the pool area and the spa onboard on the ship.  The ship is larger than the other Oceania ship I have been on however it is still a small ship compared to a lot of other ships out there.  After our tour of the ship we were lucky enough to have a 7 course lunch in the Grand dining room.  I must admit I am quite fussy when it comes to food and I did struggle.  Oceania wanted us to experience some of the foods available in the restaurants onboard the ship.  The first three courses were not for me and the first course I had was the beef which was nice.  The best course I had was the dessert this was like a chocolate mousse and went down very well.  I really enjoyed my time on the Marina and would definitely like to sail on her in the future.
