Liberty of the Seas does Saturday Night Fever

As I am such a big musical fan I thought it would be worth sharing this with you.  Royal Caribbean are going to be staging the hit musical Saturday Night Fever onboard the Liberty of the Seas from April 2011.
The show will be performed in the 1320 seat theatre onboard the ship.  This is the third main stage musical for Royal Caribbean the other musicals include Hairspray on the Oasis of the Seas and Chicago on the Allure of the Seas.  Saturday Night Fever is based on the 1970s film and the stage show been performed to more than 10 million people worldwide.  My favourite song from the show has got to be ‘Stayin Alive’.  Royal Caribbean is going to be making shipboard enhancements which will start in January 2011 on the Freedom class ships.  I am sure they will follow the musical productions onto their other ships in due course.  I really enjoy musicals and for me it would be so good to be on a cruise and being able to watch such great musicals.  The Liberty of the Seas will be in Europe for summer 2011 sailing from Barcelona so there are some good prices available throughout the summer with them either as a fly cruise package or doing just cruise only.
