Introducing…..Ibero Cruises!!!

Ibero Cruises – Who are they and what are they about?

The last few weeks I’ve noticed a few adverts popping up advertising a ship named the Ibero Grand Holiday, and thought I’d do a little research and see what all the fuss is about!

So here goes……

Ibero Cruises, a combination of a British, American and Spanish owned cruise line based out of Madrid, Spain. Actually named ‘Ibero Cruceros’ in Spain, they are a subsidiary of the cruising super power that is the Carnival Corporation, co-owned by a Spanish tour operator in Mallorca named Orizonia Corporation – the third largest in Spain. In fact some of you travel buffs out there might recognise the hotel chain Iberostar if I were to mention it, well they are part of the same group.

One ship, the Grand Holiday  is now on sale to the UK and Ireland under the control of Costa Cruises.

Here is a quick rundown on the ships vitals:

So the question is,

‘Will the ship sell well in the UK?’

Well my answer is yes it will.

Granted, the main language is Spanish, but does Italian stop you booking Costa and MSC? Of course not!

The whole point of going abroad is to experience something new isn’t it?

The fact is, if it’s cheap, people will buy it! These days more than ever. What the Ibero Grand will offer is a no nonsense 7 – 14 night cruise with a cracking itinerary, at a tremendous price, that can knock the financial socks off most of the competition.

Take a look at this and tell me you don’t want to go:

Savona

La Spezia

Civitavecchia

Palermo

Valletta

Tunis

At Sea

Palma

Marseille

Savona

Ajaccio

Barcelona

All these places for ultra-low prices, winter sailings and with easy access ports like Barcelona make this ship a brilliant purchase whether you are new to cruise or an experienced traveller looking for a gap filler.
