The Travel Trade Oscars…

The Travel Weekly (trade paper) AAA’s was held on Tuesday 11th July at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London and whilst AAA could quite easily be thought of as a large Alcoholics Anonymous meeting – not too many teetotal Travel Agents !! – this AAA stands for Agent Achievement Awards… and we were so proud to scoop the award for the winner of the Website of the Year…

The AAAs are the biggest celebration of the travel trade in the UK, with 850 people attending this year’s glittering ceremony, among them were a team from our HO as well as a few colleagues invited by other cruise lines

Fantastic news that this year’s nominated charity collection was the Chloe & Liam Appeal, Chloe Rutherford was a Travel Agent Apprentice who along with her boyfriend Liam Curry was sadly killed in the Manchester bombing.  A staggering £ 6,696 was raised and helped the appeal smash its target of £10,000.
