A little Harmony in your life… well actually not so little !!

This weekend saw the launch of the Biggest Cruise Ship in the World, and it happened in the UK..  WOW.

The Harmony of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s latest addition to their fleet, and unless you have been a bubble for the last week, I am sure you will have seen some of the massive coverage  that she has attracted throughout the UK Media over the weekend.

Having many colleagues on board over the weekend,  my social media was full with lots of peoples photos of them enjoying themselves in the many bars and restaurants on board, The views from their balcony overlooking the ships Central Park, The madder ones amongst them sampling the Abyss – the huge slide that adorns the back of the ship that I wrote about in a previous blog, and much much much more…Harmony blog pic 2

It seems there was so much to do on board that the 2 nights Travel Trade & Media event probably was not long enough to take it all in, and it does make you wonder as to how you would find your way around and how would you choose what to do on any given day. ?  You can definitely say that you would not get bored on a day at sea.  The entertainment includes a magical Ice Show, the “At Sea” Premiere of Grease the Musical, along with the magnificent bars including the Rising Tide and the Bionic Bar.

Daytime entertainment covers something for all the family – offering magnificent children’s facilities and plenty for the young at heart.Harmony blog pic

With a capacity of nearing 9000, including over 2000 crew from the four corners of the world, it really does make you wonder how much bigger they can make a ship for it still to be able to float !! With Royal Caribbean owning 9 of the top 10 largest cruise ships in the world – will anyone else come close to them…

I was and still am extremely jealous of all my friends who did get to experience this amazing feat of engineering and hope that I too will one day get to see her and experience all that she has to offer.
