And Relax… well nearly

So after my post regarding pre-registration this week is set for another really busy week with a FULL diary of early starts to secure YOU my lovely customers with your early booking preferences for P&O and Cunard, by the time Thursday afternoon comes I will be ready to Relax myself as I board the train to Gatwick ready for my flight early Friday morning and start my holiday… somewhere before then I do need to find a few spare minutes to pack but well nearly ready..

I am extremely excited by my first “holiday” of this year as I am one of the selected lucky Travel Agents to be heading to Italy for the launch of the Majestic Princess… you may remember me mentioning this in a previous post that I had won a place on this trip by the bookings that I have made with Princess for my lovely customers, so THANK YOU and I will certainly raise a glass, or two, to you all whilst I am on board.

Although I say “holiday”, this trip is purely for the trade and I WILL have to participate in a few compulsory activities – work related of course – a ship tour, checking out the cocktail list, testing the loungers on the pool deck, tasting the magnificent food… the list goes on but it is all part of my tough job !!. and I am really looking forward to exploring Kotor, Montenegro a port that I have not visited before and the scenery is said to be spectacular.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see this ship as she is only going to be in the Mediterranean for a short time before repositioning to Asia.  I have had the opportunity to previously sail on several ships, or to spend the night at Southampton onboard, for launch celebrations and agents previews but never before have I sailed the Maiden voyage of a cruise from the dockyard where she has been built so I am extremely excited to be one of the first passengers on board this stunning ship and look forward to seeing it for myself.

Here is a sneaky preview VIDEO of what I am to experience..  Although I am not great with heights I did brave the SeaWalk on the Royal Princess but that was a bit different as was over the docks in Southampton – not sure I will be as brave to walk it whilst actually at sea – I will let you know and will certainly be sharing a full update on this on my return…
