First Cruise ….. Which Cruise???

Where next? …. Spain, Canary Islands, 5* over priced hotel, 3* poor hotel, Good Hotel but no entertainment, Fantastic Hotel in the middle of no where? Caribbean limited to the Winter time for the weather???? …… I cant cope ….. WHERE DO I GO??

Have you exhausted all other options for your dream holiday and are now considering your FIRST EVER CRUISE????

I completely understand and appreciate for first timers this industry is a complete mind field, where on earth do you start??? With so many choices and different ships to choose from depending on what you are looking into you really do feel you are in the deepest end of the pool possible……

My recommendation after being in this industry for over 10 years and experiencing this myself is to look at minimum 6 – 7 night cruises …… Why you may ask as of course a taster 2 / 3 nighter is perfect to provide that feeling of whether a cruise is for you or not surely?? …. This is not so true in my opinion …. My reasons are simple ….

You will not receive the full experience of what a cruise is like as standard on a mini cruise! (I appreciate this will not always be the case but on most) Expect ….

I absolutely love a little mini cruise, I enjoyed another one myself only at the end of last year on board the Magellan with Cruise and Maritime which visited Antwerp and Amsterdam and this time round it was fantastic, this cruise line being at my prime age of 31 is not one I would normally choose to go as my first choice, with as it caters for the older market generally however the itinerary and dates were perfect for us.

On another note I have been on a P & O mini cruise and the clientele on board is not what I was expecting and if this had of been my first cruise would most certainly have out me off.

For me the 7 nights will provide you with exactly what a cruise is all about from the get go.
