Is customer service important to you?
My perception of customer service is to treat people the way that I would like to be treated. I always give my customers 100%, before booking their dream holiday, leading up to and after they have travelled.
There are some companies out there that are just interested in gaining peoples business.
That is not me, in my experience, if you give good customer service then customer’s will come back to me, which is what I aim to achieve. No matter how much the customer spend’s does not determine the level of service they receive. So how do I deliver good customer service?
Well firstly it is making sure that the cruise/holiday is the right one for my customer’s, asking many questions and making sure that I answer all questions that they may have, over coming objections that the customer may have, I have got 18 years worth of experience, so I would like to think that I can reassure where possible. After the booking has been made, customers can contact me at any time with questions or queries, sometimes it’s not always about the cost, its whether the customer feels they can trust you as an individual. I will always call my customers before they travel to ensure they have all the correct documentation. After they have travelled, I like to call my customers to see how their holiday was, this is great for my knowledge and enables me to pass on information to other customers.
