So Much to choose from…..

I always get asked the question.. Which cruise should I book?

I understand that there is so much on offer out there and is difficult unless you have cruised before knowing which cruise line and ship is best for you! So I thought I would write about how I help my customers to decide which is suitable for them.

Firstly, I ask my customers have they cruised before. If they have then I ask which ship they have been on? Whether they enjoyed it and what they liked most of all about the ship, they sometimes say that the ship was too big, or there wasn’t enough for them to do and then we can go from there.

First time cruisers is a whole different ball game, it depends on who is travelling i.e adults only or families. Most first cruiser’s don’t like to cruise for more then seven days as they want to see if they like it, they also don’t want to spend too much money as they may not like it. If there are children travelling then I feel its important that there is plenty to keep them occupied as then Mum and Dad can enjoy their holiday too. There are all sorts of facilities available for children but not on every ship. From Creche’s, Kids clubs, Waterslides, Ice skating rinks, Rock climbing walls, but it depends on the children’s ages and their interests.

They other factor to consider is the itinerary, there may be particular ports that may be of more interest then others, if there is a particular destination that needs to be in the itinerary then that can sometimes narrow the search down. Its important to get the ship and the itinerary right and then we talk about accommodation. Inside, Outside, Balcony or a Suite? Again it depends on the budget and how much they are looking to spend and that can be a deciding factor too.

I also talk about my experience of cruising and that I have been in the travel industry for 17 years and that cruise.co.uk has been voted the No.1 Cruise Agent in the world for the past 8 years as that gives customers confidence that I am the right person to be booking there cruise.

Thanks for reading my blog and if you are a first time cruiser or an experience cruiser, I hope I have filled you with confidence and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
