  1. What do you expect for £15 a day unlimited drinks? Your trying to compare FO with RCI or NCL who charge £35 a day. If you upgrade to premium then youlll probably get a fair comparison

  2. Some cruise lines are charging nearly £40 each per day for drinks packages.

I don’t spend £40 per week on drinks myself, but when you see the super inflated prices of bottles of cheap wine on board, it’s easy to see why they charge so much.

  3. Lucky you are not on MSC.
On their basic drinks package small bottles of beer are priced at Euros 6.25 and as the basic
price for these in the package is Euros 6,00—it means that they are not included !!
Oh — and I forgot to mention there is in addition a 15 per cent service charge !!

  4. I was interested to read this news being a Platinum member of Fred Olsen.

I am just wondering why you didn’t post it on cruisedot’s forum. There are lots of members that do not do FB and would be equally interested to read the news.

I have just started a new thread with your link. I hope that is OK.

  5. the worst rip off was PO haven’t been on a PO ship for 20 years and won’t be rushing back. Every glass half full nothing to accompany the cocktails. No cherries /fruit no finesse with any drink. NO deviation from the “list”. when asked to fill a glass more than half ,they brought it in a smaller glass!!!
