The Worlds Fastest Ever Bullet Train Would You Dare?

We book lots of tours in Asia and some of the most popular ways to see China South Korea and Japan is by Bullet Train or Shinkansen as they refer to them in Tokyo,

These are some of the most picturesque ways to see a City but baring in mind they are in such vast cities it more about crossing a vast amount of the country low cost and in style.

Japan are often leading the world in technology so it wont come as a huge surprise to know they are now unveiling the Worlds fastest ever bullet train which travels at an exhilarating 249 MPH

The Alfa X has only just started testing but is due to go into service with Japanese rail company JR East in 2030 according to a recent Bloomberg report.

Once it enters operation JR East plans to operate it at 360 KPH 224 MPH which would make it a full 10KPH faster then its Chinese rival Fuxing Hao which technically has the same top speed capability as the Alpha X.

You can imagine the kind of engineering that has gone into the new design features to make the train the most aerodynamic but it begs the question what cost will it have to the environment?

Is there an argument that these kind of speeds will have a more negative impact or the opposite, well according to reports I have read  the faster the speed the more conserving of energy once the train is at full speed.

Is there any real need for a train to go this fast or is it Japan flexing its technological mussels to beat China in train speed?

Would you feel safe traveling on a Train this fast. in all honesty there is something in the name Bullet train that does make it sound unsafe a the very mention.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
