Yorkshire- you didn’t disappoint!

Working from home can be quite isolating at times but I work with some fabulous guys and have done for the last 5 and a half years. Last weekend was what has now become an annual weekend away with two of my closest work colleagues.

We not only bagged ourselves a fabulous luxury lodge, but also some fantastic weather.

This year we stayed in Leyburn. A North Yorkshire Market town on the banks of the river Ure in Wensleydale. The Park itself was a little hidden gem nestled within the Yorkshire dales. It had over 60 lodges on the site which ranged from small 2 bedroomed lodges to huge 4 bedroom ones for larger families or friends gatherings.

These annual weekends we take are such a great time to chat and relax as we don’t often get time to speak a lot within work time as the majority of us at Cruise.co work from home. It is a rare occasion that we even leave the lodge but this year there was a restaurant on site so we made the effort and ventured out a little.

As a lot of you know, I love my UK holidays almost as much as I love cruising. With the countryside we are surrounded by, It is no wonder the British Isles cruises we offer are getting even more popular. If we could just be guaranteed a little window of fine weather it would be a bonus,
