Goodbye to 2017!

Well its almost the end of the year and 2017 has certainly been an eventful one. Some good and others not so good.

I do always look forward to this time of the year, as I love the Christmas period. Apart from the cold weather that is.

Having a spell of snow last week made me feel so glad I work from home and after 4 years of being a ‘Homie’ I cant really remember a time I had to do the whole defrost twice a day!

2017 began with a Planned trip to New York for my eldest daughter’s 18th birthday. It was never a place I had wanted to go but nothing else would do in her eyes and it was booked for later in the year.

As the year progressed it unfortunately took a drastic turn with the awful events that surrounded my home City of Manchester back in May. I was unfortunately caught up in all that as many of you know having been in the foyer at the time collecting my middle daughter from the Ariana Concert.

It was followed by a lot of tragic events around the country that made it very difficult to deal with and try and move past.

As the year progressed I managed to battle against my fears and did travel to the Big Apple for what turned out to be an amazing and very memorable trip. Just as I had wanted for my daughter.

I can not begin to explain who much it has affected me as a person but I am determined to fight on and not be beaten by these individuals. We are a strong family and have lots of great things like our Caribbean Cruise to look forward to 2018.

My year ended with a wonderful relaxing break at a gorgeous hotel not too far from where I live. Myself and my hubby got to spend a couple of days completely relaxing and re charging our batteries ready for the onslaught of the festivities.

So lets end the year on a high and look forward to bringing in better things for 2018 and I look forward to helping all you lot out there and making your dreams become realities in 2018.

Here’s to a good one!!
