Expedition anyone?

With cruising now firmly within everyone’s budget and many more people experiencing what it has to offer year on year, it is time to excite those amongst us that are seasoned cruisers looking for that something a but special.

The Cruise Market over the last 10 years has grown beyond belief and many consider a cruise as their family/annual holiday now. Prices are now more affordable than ever and are enticing more people to try rather than their standard bucket and spade style land based holiday.

Those amongst us that have ‘seen that’ and ‘been there’ are always looking for new things to experience and I have to say that these cruise companies are listening to the public  and coming up with some great options.

Celebrity Cruises have recently announced they are providing their very own Expedition ship in the form of ‘ Celebrity Flora’

The 100-guest ship will be one of the most energy-efficient ships of its size in the archipelago and will offer guests seamless sea-to-shore transportation, including anchorless technology that keeps the ship in place without damaging the sea floor.

Flora will boast all-suite accommodations with huge bathroom spaces and Infinite Verandas and guests will have their very own personal suite attendant to tend to their every need.

It will also feature two Penthouse Suites, the largest on board a ship in that area with separate indoor and outdoor living areas, customizable lighting and shades, and a telescope.

For those passionate about the environment, Flora will host a new advanced propulsion system, hull configuration and specially designed diesel engines that set her apart from other ships in her class.

I personally think this will be a huge hit within the market as Celebrity Cruises have been visiting the Galapagos Islands for number of years now but this new ship will certainly take it to the next level and clearly not faltering on quality and standard on board.
