A True Princess

I told you last time about my Royal Princess trip that i was about to embark on. So, How did it go…..

This was to be my second leg of the fabulous British Isles Itinerary that Princess have been offering their guests for several years now. My last encounter you may remember was on the Caribbean Princess a couple of years ago and I was very impressed in the whole experience but did wonder what ‘Extra’ Royal Princess could offer me.

Embarkation at Ocean Terminal can sometimes be a challenge for the most patient of people amongst us, especially when such a large ship. Well I was pleasantly surprised on how swift and seemless the process was. An hour later we were boarding.

First impressions were amazing. Such a Classic design with a modern twist. Just what I expected to be perfectly honest. Princess never fail to impress me.

The Atrium was stunning and felt light an airy.

The Atrium area had plenty to keep you entertained, fed and watered. We did try them all! Just so I could report back my findings, of course. Alfredo’s had the most amazing Pizza and it is serving from lunchtime so a real alternative to the buffet. There is also the complimentary International cafe. Here you can grab anything from a breakfast muffin to a fabulous sandwich or cake, served perfectly with a Latte or Hot Chocolate ( Drinks are extra)

There was always something happening there too. We saw some Pilates classes for the fitness fanatics, afternoon line dancing to an outstanding singer on in the evening which went down delightfully with a Cocktail or two from Bellini’s Bar. ( Raspberry Romance got my vote if you are after a recommendation)

Here we all all outside the best bar on board.

Next time folks I will tell you all about our Cabin and the ports of call.

Thank you for reading and until next time!
