Au Revoir – I’m Off On My Holiday

As you are reading this I am on my way to Southampton to board Navigator of the Seas for a 10 day voyage. This is my first break this year, as I started here with Cruise.co in March and had a couple of domestic issues that prevented a Summer break, so really ready for this as it has been a busy year!

It’s my first time on Navigator, but having been many times on Independence and knowing the layout is similar, I will soon feel at home. Past cruises have all been down to the Med in the Summer, but this one is a ‘cold cruise’ visiting Cherbourg, Le Havre, Oslo (overnight), Amsterdam and Zeebrugge with a couple of sea days thrown in. We also have the luxury of a balcony cabin this time, we usually go for inside cabins.

The ship has lots of facilities and activities to keep us busy and Royal Caribbean always puts on great entertainment. Of course a big part of the cruising experience is the dining, so I imagine a bit of weight gain is inevitable, a bit dangerous with Christmas around the corner!!
