The best cruise ships in the world have been announced for 2019.

If you are thinking of taking a cruise then you might want to read my blog on the worlds best cruise lines for different Categories as it may help make up your mind. This list has been voted by the passengers themselves.

The best cruise line overall is Celebrity Equinox. I have been on this ship myself and I must admit I wasn’t disappointed. This is a 5 star ship so there may be some 6 star ships that slightly have the edge however for Value for money this ship is second to none. You could also try the Equinox sister ships. Eclipse,Solstice,Silhouette and Reflection. This will give you a similar experience to the Equinox however they are based in different locations around the world. The Equinox was also the big winners with best cabins and dining. There awards go up against other large ships.

Best for Embarkation. Sapphire Princess

Value for Money Marella Celebration.

Marella cruise also Scooped awards for Best for Emabarkation, Fitness and Service. So if you are looking for a cruise but on a tighter budget then Marella may be worth looking at.

Finally if you prefer a smaller ship you could look at the below….

Best small ship. Lofoten Hurtigruten

Cabins. Silver Muse

Entertainment. Saga Sapphire

Fitness. Viking Sea

If you are looking for a smaller ship then Hurtigruten was one of the big winners and could be worth looking at.

I certainly agree with some of the winners here however haven’t been on all the ships so hard to disagree. It would be good to hear your thoughts.
