P&O Comes to Dubai.

Some of you may have heard the exciting news, that P&O’S Oceana is going to be based in Dubai in the winter 2019. All I can say to that is that it s about time too.

I have been lucky enough to visit Dubai 3 times now and can honestly say there is something there for everybody. Dubai is a purpose built tourist resort. I can only liken it to Las Vegas of the Middle east. This is a country with so much money they don’t know what to do with it all.

Some of the attractions include….

The Burj Khalifa. This is the tallest building in the world. It is well worth a visit to the top where the fastest lift in the world will get you up 156 floors in less than a minute. Once your at the top you will get full panoramic views of the city as well as little islands that resembled countries of the world. One of these islands to purchase will set you back 35 Million.

Dubai Mall. Obviously this is the biggest shopping mall in the world. This is the only shopping centre where I have ever got lost. I’m a big fan of diesel clothing. After hunting for what felt like 2 hours hunting for the Diesel shop I finally found it only to find out it was Diesel Exclusive for kids.

Some of the Most Exclusive Hotels in the World including the Burj Al Arab. This is the only 6 star hotel in the world and boy is it worth it. Fir the Ultimate treat you could go here for lunch for a once in a lifetime experience. I stayed at the Atlantis the Palm when I went. I would Highly recommend this hotel. It even has its own waterpark included in the price. You also have an aquarium inside where you can snorkel and swim with Dolphins.

Ski Dubai. I think the name explains it all. A full size indoor ski slope with real snow. In the middle of a desert. Only in Dubai.

This is only a few of the things that you can do whilst you are in the Magical country.

If you do decide to book one of Oceana’s sailing whilst you are over there I would highly recommend booking a couple of nights at the start or end so you can see what it has to offer.
