Independence of the seas to have a make over.

Great News for Royal Caribbean fans. especially for those of you who love sailing from the uk. Independence of the seas is to undergo a multi million pound make over.

It doesn’t seem that long ago that Royal Caribbean released independence of the seas. It was at that time by far the biggest cruise liner at sea and it still remains the largest ship out of the Uk. Although it was only released in 2008 it has a chance of becoming a bit same old same old. cruise companies are bringing out new cruise ships every year and  are catching up and terms of size an innovation. Although Independence wont be getting any bigger they will be getting some cool new features. These new features have all been chosen by travel agents as they have listened to the customers and know what they want.

So what are the features I hear you ask.

. A trampoline park. This will be the first and only one at sea. Where I live trampoline parks have really taken off for all ages whether it be for fitness purposes or just for a bit of fun this is great for children and adults trying to release there inner child.

. Waterslides. Although there are now waterslides on a few of the ships out there this is definitely something to keep the children entertained.

. Laser tag. I’m not sure exactly what is involved here however if this is anything like laser quest then you can count me in.

Escape room. This is my personal favourite. I recently did an escape room on land. It was great fun and challenging too.

As well as these four new features they will also be touching up the ship to keep it up to the exceptionally high standards that you would expect from a Royal Caribbean ship. I know this isn’t for everyone however for me this sounds great and cant wait to book. They expect to be completed by april 2018 which is just in time for the next uk season.
