Whats more stressful than packing for a cruise?

I hope you are all like me when packing for your cruises. I stress for weeks before about what to take. Do I have enough? What will I bring for formal nights? What about normal evenings. Do I stay more casual or dress it up?

Honestly, this goes on for weeks. Then I pair outfits together with shoes and evening bags and take photos of them and save them under two folders in my pictures on my phone – day time and evening. Now looking what I have just written I really do think I over think it.

Now, if I over think packing for a 7 night cruise you can only imagine what I have put myself and my loved ones through in the past few weeks when I have been packing for my house move.

I recently bought a house, I still feel very grown up saying it. After years of renting and moving every few years when the owners decide to sell to free themselves, I have taken the plunge and put my toes in the housing market. Buying a house alone is a tough journey. My family have been great in helping and supporting me but when it comes down to the crunch you have to get on with the organising and packing yourself to make sure everything is all set to go.

However, all best layed plans and all that. When I thought everything was all set two weeks ago some paperwork on the Vendors side was missing so all my furniture and early possessions are safely secure in a storage locker.

Now I have gotten the keys, whoop whoop, it has given me the opportunity to take some time off work and craic on with decorating whilst I still have all of the boxes and furniture in the storage locker. So after getting the keys on Thursday night we made a good start on striping the place back to begin my DIY journey on what I hope is my dream home.

Is there anything else more stressful than moving home. At this stage I think even packing for a World Cruise would be a doddle lol
