Majestic Fjordlands

So I found out last week I had won a free Fam trip from Cruise and Maritime for completing some online training modules. As you could imagine I was over the moon that I had been given this opportunity to go on a free travel agent cruise and to top it off I have never traveled with Cruise and Maritime before so would have been so beneficial to me. Not only that, the cruise was departing from Tilbury (a local cruise terminal for me) but was cruising the Norwegian Fjords, which I have never done before.

I was so excited at this stage and thought WOW, I can’t wait. I got the e-mail to advise me of the itinerary and all the inclusions and it would be on the Flagship Columbus on the following itinerary.

DATE PORT ARRIVE DEPART
29/09/19 London Tilbury (United Kingdom) 1600
30/09/19 Rotterdam (Netherlands) 0900 1700
01/10/19 At Sea
02/10/19 Eidfjord (Norway) 0700 1530
02/10/19 Cruising Hardangerfjord (Norway)
03/10/19 Flåm (Norway) 0800 2000
03/10/19 Cruising Sognefjord (Norway)
04/10/19 Bergen (Norway) 0700 1700
05/10/19 At Sea
06/10/19 London Tilbury (United Kingdom) 0800

However, when I looked at the itinerary in more detail, I realized I was not going to be able to attend this cruise as I have a big Wedding that I was attending over the course of this time. So, it just goes to prove friendship is more important than a free cruise.

Although I am gutted not to be going as would have loved to experienced Cruise and Maritime for the first time, I’m also gutted for the fact I won’t be going to the Norwegian Fjords anytime soon. Hopefully, 2020 will be the year that I get to experience both.

The ship looks amazing from what I have seen including the restaurants, cabins and facilities onboard.
