Formal or Informal?

So is formal leading the way forward when it comes to dinning on-board your cruise? I know we all have our own views, thoughts and opinions on formal dinning but most customers according to a recent survey acknowledged that the formal dinning was something they expected from their cruise.

Not all cruise lines have the option to do formal dinning but in those cases customers would still be expected to dress in smart attire. Personally I believe that the formal dinning on-board your cruise is what makes the elements of the cruise experience  so much more memorable, elegant and sophisticated. When you  think about it, how often would you dress so formal to go for a meal out on a Saturday evening? So in sight I think having the option to dress so smartly for 1 or 2 evening meals is a great way to show case your best outfit / suit. However I feel that this may be more aimed at women then men!
