Take me to the Sunshine!

It wasn’t a cold, wet Christmas for me this year.

We decided as a family this year to spend Christmas together in Spain. We are spread all over the UK from the South coast of England my hometown Southampton to Edinburgh my new home. So it either takes us 6 hours by train to visit my family or a 3 hour flight to Spain!!

This was my little boy’s first adventure on a plane! He  copes was an angel on the flight. I knew he would be no trouble as we often travel by train down to Brighton to visit family and he is always as good as gold.

We flew into Alicante and then travelled down to Playa Flamenca where we hired a couple of villas for the week. We know the area really well its almost our second home as my family lived over there for 6 years.

We ended up having a BBQ on Christmas day as the weather was lovely. I have to say though I really missed my Christmas dinner so I think we will have one on New Years day!

Whilst you were all tucking into your Turkey Sandwiches I had a boring chippy on my way home from the airport!!
