We’re All Off To Dublin!

Next week Cruise.co.uk staff will be heading off on our annual conference cruise. This year we’re sailing onboard Cruise and Maritimes ship Marco Polo for three nights to Dublin and the best bit for me is we are sailing from Bristol! Living in Taunton, Bristols only a 30 min journey which is perfect! Last years conference was held in Skegness and that was a terrible journey, especially, with all the snow at the time.

The conference will commence early Sunday morning with the day being spent listening to current news from suppliers. Most cruiseline are really good at keeping up entertained with lots of competitions and prizes, so it’s actually a  lot more fun than it sounds.

The first night of the conference is always fancy dress night, which is soooo much fun! I love that my colleagues go all out and every year there are always some really great costumes. This theme for this yearis movie characters. So watch this space for photos when I get back.

(This was my favorite outfit last year. My colleague Paul dress up as Cruella Deville with his 101 Dalmations! They were brilliant and I could not stop laughing!)

Day 2 Will start early with a few hours in the conference before we are set free in Dublin. A few of us have decided to take a trip to the Guinness factory. I’ve been to Dublin a couple of times but I’ve never done the tour so I think this is the year.

Around 16:00 we shall head to Temple bar for an exclusive cruise.co.uk party. Luckily we don’t have to worry about leaving anyone as the ship will be docked in port overnight.

The last day on board will be spent in the Conference and is also our traditional Christmas jumper and company photo day.

This is normally about the time a weekend of partying with my cruise.co colleagues catches up with me and over the years It’s become a bit of a tradition for me to lose my voice.

Cruise.co. Christmas conference is always one of the most fun weekends of the year and I can’t wait to get onboard and see everyone.
