My wife likes them Big, Does SIZE matter?

Everyone has different tastes it’s a fact of life! Some prefer them big whilst others prefer a smaller one and some are just bothered with the motion of the ocean!

The first time I took my wife I treated her to a big one!! It was Epic and she loved every minute of it!! and now says she could never go on a smaller one. Those ships just don’t offer her the choice and variety she is looking for on a cruise

Every year that goes by the ships just seem to be getting bigger and bigger and more innovative and with more choices than the last.

No sooner are we are being wowed by Harmony of the Seas due to launch this May, where you can watch robots mix your cocktail at the Bionic Bar or choose from an amazing choice of dining experiences. It has the most slides at sea including the Ultimate Abyss (the tallest slide at sea with a scary 10 storey drop) along with the Perfect Storm – a trio of thrilling water slides and luxurious rooms ever, Along comes news that the new NCL Joy will have a two level racetrack on board!!! Where will it all stop?? And  If you think these ships are big (Harmony of the seas will hold 5400 guests) MSC are going to go one better  with their MSC Meraviglia plus 1 launching October 2019 which will supposedly hold a staggering 6300 passengers

Somewhere in-between lots of other cruise lines are building new giving us more choice but sticking to an average size Princess and Disney to name a few. I do find it surprising that perhaps Disney haven’t followed suit with their new ships which are reportedly relatively small in comparison to some at just 2500 passengers (due to launch 2021)

Some of you will be pleased to know not all the cruise lines are following the stereotype and building ships for the mass market as some are.

seadreamViking Ocean cruise line has taken what it knows in river cruising and adapted it to its new ocean vessels small intimate at 930 passengers with beautiful finishing across the ship and instead of focusing on gimmicks is concentrating on its standard of Dining, service and its enrichment on board which its clients will have come to expect.

So what do you think does SIZE matter? Which do you prefer let me know?
