Like all the Fred Olsen fleet, Braemar is  smaller and more traditional ship than some of today’s cruise ships. The style of cruising is essentially British, most of the staff will have worked for Fred Olsen for many years, many of the passengers will be repeat guests who return year after year for the wonderfully warm reception they receive and the happy, almost family, atmosphere on board.

Braemar will capture your senses – with large windows, polished wood, shining brass fittings and decadent fabrics. A five-deck high atrium area and cascading decks at the stern give Braemar space and intimacy in abundance. Have a tasty lunch at the Palms Café and a delicious dinner in the grand Thistle and Grampian restaurants. Refresh at the Marquee poolside bar, or have a cosy drink in the Morning Light Pub. Dance the night away to the music of the Neptune Lounge, and take afternoon tea at the Coral Club. Relax in the serene Atlantis Spa, and take an evening stroll around the promenade.

The ship has a varied programme of itineraries with 2013 seeing the introduction of fly cruise programmes to the Canary Islands, Cape Verde Islands, Senegal, The Gambia, Morrocco and Madeira. Flights from Manchester and Gatwick mean no long trek through the Bay of Biscay which can be quite rough in the winter months.

At the end of March she will return to the port of Dover to begin her summer season of itineraries sailing out of the UK. She will sail to the Baltic, Norway, British Islesand the Mediterranean. Why not take a look at our website for the full range of itineraries available.

An added benefit at the moment is the offer of an upgrade to All Inclusive if you book before the end of September.

Book now on any Fred. Olsen sailing departing 6 April 2013 onwards and you`ll get a FREE upgrade to the new All Inclusive Cruise package. You’ll get free drinks – selected beers, wines, spirits & soft drinks – included in the price, along with all meals, leisure facilities, daytime activities and live entertainment.

You’ll need to hurry though, as this special All Inclusive Cruise offer is only available on the first 100 bookings on each sailing and will end at the end of September.
