Spectrum of the Seas – On sale NOW!!

Another week, another exciting announcement from Royal Caribbean. This time it was their latest order going on sale, the Spectrum of the Seas.

Their newest and most innovative addition will launch from Barcelona on the 18th April 2019 on a 16 night sailing through the Suez Canal down to Dubai. She will then continue on her journey to Singapore for 3 sailings before settling in her home port of Shanghai. The move is one that only cements the fact that the Far East cruise market is absolutely booming!

The new Quantum Class ship will have some new and exciting features and some of the original features that make the Quantum Class ships so popular. She will retain favourites such as the North Star, Ripcord and the Flo-Rider. They are also installing the Sky Pad, the bungee trampoline park first introduced on the Independence of the Seas during her recent refurbishment.

With the Spectrum being based in the Far East, they are installing some features that have the bulk of their customers that will be using the ship at the heart of the plans. The introduction of a never before seen restaurant called Sichuan Red, a new speciality offering Sichuan food, which, is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan Province in southwestern China.

She will also boast possibly the most fun suite at sea, in the Ultimate Family Suite. At a huge 1134 square feet, split over 2 storeys, the suite will offer guests who don’t like to take the stairs, a slide! From the upper storey of the suite to the lower. It will also feature your own private 3D cinema, which guests will be able to use for their own private Karaoke parties! Just in case you are wondering, the Ultimate Family Suite will accommodate a whopping 9 guests, so get inviting your friends!!
