Goodbye, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen to 2018.

We are approaching the end of 2018, and as I type I’m practicing my Auld Lang syne ready for New Year’s Eve. You’re very lucky this is a blog and not a podcast! I think I’ve set off the neighbor’s dog, she’s howling away!

2018 was a busy year for me and definitely one to remember.

The highlight for me was getting married. On the 11th June 2018, I said ‘I DO‘ on the stunning Island of Skiathos (famed for Mamma Mia) It was our 5th visit to the Island and it was the perfect choice for our wedding. We were married in the Town looking out to the clear blue sea. We then took a boat ride around the Island sipping on champagne and Mythos. Our reception was on the beachfront and was just the perfect spot to celebrate, with our close family. Truly a day to remember, and one I hope to never forget. We have booked Skiathos again for our 1 year wedding anniversary. I’ve already got a holiday countdown and most definitely will be annoying more than a few people with weekly updates!

Family Time

Our summer of love continued in the form of the England football team, what a performance no one expected .It made the country a wonderful place to be this summer. I loved the atmosphere, everywhere you went they were playing it’s’ coming home’ and for a tiny minute, I really believed it was.

I also had an amazing hen do in Gdansk, Poland. It was freezing cold but the 80p vodka shots soon warmed us up! We had our first night theme as Madonna throughout the decades. It was my second visit to Poland and I have to say it is such a fantastic place. Very cheap for food and drink, the food I had in Poland was seriously some of the nicest food I’ve ever had.

Another highlight was coming back to Cruise.co.uk after a couple of years away. I’m so excited to be back and cannot wait to speak to new and old customers in the New Year.

Christmas in Leeds
